Oh my goodness! I've been away for a few days just to come back and find myself crowned fgotm!!! Ya'll had the cake and tea with out me now, didn't ya??

I just wanted to say that I'm spending my month of honor planning an expansion to my chicken coop and building planting shelves for my living room. It's being a lovely & busy late winter/early spring for me, so I haven't had much time to post lately.

Annika FGOM list hasn't been up dated for over a year. Alee had it going on some how lock it so no would could post.
So pick away First day of the month is a great time to pick though.

Ohhhh! My goodness!! Thank you so much MJ and Meg! They sent me the most adorable mugs and some truly yummy tea. I love the mugs! Drew and I had tea in them last night Thank you both! HUGS!!!

And so it is that I've come to the last day of a fabulous month. Being named FGOTM really humbled me and made me feel loved. I can be a shy sometimes and don't post as often as I'd like to, but I love all of you, even when you're being stinkers 
I found MJF when I really needed the reaffirmation that what mattered to me also mattered to others. Who'd have thought that an ex-punk rock city girl would find her true self in gardening, foraging, woodworking and chickens?
After some thought and repeated trips through the past fgotm logs, I've chosen a sister that I'm truly surprised hasn't been honoured yet. I was the first to welcome her to the board and it's only fitting that I pass the title to her. She is always gracious, has many amusing and sometimes poignant stories, remembers everyone, their hardships and accomplishments. Her classy yet comfortable manner always shines through. No matter how tough her own life is at the moment, she always has room for others. I find kinship in that she loves animals and tries to keep a greener footprint on this earth.
Please bring on the cheers! I pass the honour to MARIANNE (rough start farmgirl) Have a happy month! May April bring sunshine, flowers and lots of smiles

Holy Cow! What a surprise. Annika, you have been so kind to me from the beginning. I often think of how close geographically we are, too! Thank you so much for this honor. It is such a great shot in the arm right now! I came in from packing barn stuff for the move - could there be a worse area to have to pack out? - and I was tired and dusty. So, I headed for my favorite pick me up - MJF, and boy did it pick me up. Thank you so much. I feel very happy to have been chosen. This site has come to mean an awful lot to me. I know it has for so many of you, too.
