I have decided that the Farm Girl of the Month for June 2014 is Beth Jones. Beth is very creative. She has hosted the Monthly Christmas Ornament Swap for a very long time and is now hosting the Ribbon Doll Swap and the Chunky Wood Block Art Swap. She participates in the Mail Art and Matchbox Swaps. I know that she has to be organized to host all these swaps and the participate in even more. Congratulations Beth!

Congrats! BETH JONES! She was the first Farm Girl I met, the day I joined MJF and the first swap I did! an ATC Cookie Swap! I have been signing up for her swaps for almost 3 years! She is a retired Teacher, that explains her organization! and there is not a Sweeter or Kinder person on the Planet!

Oh My Goodness!!!! What a sweet surprise to wake up and find this out today!!!! I didn't even know what to do and had to email Marie for the information!!!! You girls are what makes being a crafting farmgirl so special! It is such fun to craft and create with all of you and experience some of your hidden talents and loves thru out the year. Without all of you, there wouldn't be any swaps so "Thanks" to all of you for signing up. I found out about MJF from reading the magazine while flying from Boston 4 years ago. It was such a refreshing approach to the typical magazine and when I found the forums, I was so excited!! I had wanted to find a creative outlet after having to retire early because of severe crippling arthritis. I was so lost without my first grade babies....and I didn't know what to do with the time. I volunteered and remained active in my church, but still I couldn't find enough to do. Then, there were days that I could not do even that. After visiting my daughter in Boston and flying home, I found MJF and what a wonderful time it has been!! You girls are the best! It is such fun to visit all over the country when mail is received from you. I usually look up your city and find it on the atlas and imagine what it would be like to there. So, it is always a journey and an adventure! I have made sweet friends here and continue to enjoy the sisterhood that is always present. I am blessed to be apart of such lovely company and humbled to be your farmgirl of the month. I will declare that all of you will be considered farmgirls of the month also...so my lovely ladies enjoy and have fun crafting and creating this month!! Thank you again, Marie, for this honor. Good choice for our Farm Girl of the Month. Mz. Beth is a great sister. Good to see an ALABAMA girl here as our winner! I am always amazed at all the swaps you do, Mz Beth. I have not joined in due to time restrictions but the fact that they are ongoing is simply wonderful. Enjoy your month!!!!
