Oh my goodness! I am gushing! Thank you Bonnie Ellis, my dear Farmgirl friend. I know a lot of you newer Farmgirls on here probably don't recognize me. I have been the traveling Farmgirl since my DH and I sold almost all of our possessions and are traveling the country in a 39 ft fifth wheel. We first went to FL and then did a wonkamping job in Vidalia, LA. Next was a job in the Black Hills of SD and since then we have been working at an antique restoration shop and store in Bander, TX. Needless to say, it has been an adventure gardening in containers in so many different zones. Also the search for good organic meat and produce can be daunting. I am so excited that we will be leaving in April for a job on a goat farm in Blackhawk, WI! I don't post here as much as I used to due to sketchy internet. That problem has now been solved since we finally purchased our own hot spot! I am very excited and humbled to be chosen as February Farmgirl of the Month.

This is my new traveling home, not as cute as my little camper but big enough for DH and two dogs!

Congrats Diane! Boy, it's been a loooong time since I've seen you around here. When I first started on here way back when I saw you a lot. I've always enjoyed your nuttiness and adventures! I would love to be you right now.
My parents did what you are doing when my Dad retired. They sold all their worldly goods and bought a 25 foot RV, then changed to a 35 foot double tip-out pull trailer pulled by a suburban. They did that for 12 years. They slowly came down in size to a pick-up truck with a cap pulling a smaller(16ft?)trailer. Then they settled down around here again. Roaming is in our family's blood.
Again...Congrats!

Thank you all for your kind words. I have so missed you all! Kelly, I am still in Texas. In fact my mailing address is Pipe Creek! Where are you? I would love to meet you. I am working at Country Accents Antiques on Highway 16 between Pipe Creek and Bandera. Let me know if we can get together.
