Hi Ladies, After a long search we've located baby doll sheep. We've raised sheep before but never baby doll so does anyone have any first hand experience with them? They're on the rare list in Canada but I don't know about the States. There's only about 8 reg. breeders in Canada. Any first hand info would be great help! Thanks Judy
Hey Judy , I was curious as to what breed a baby doll sheep was so I googled it, here is a geat link on them. They are so stinkin cute I think I want some (that should go over well around here) Lucky, lucky you!
A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.
A friend of mine owns a winery and she is looking into getting Baby DOll sheep for her vineyards. They are so short they won't be able to get to the leaves but will be great for the weed eating underneath. They are cute sheep. But very expensive little guys.
Hi Ladies, Rams are 24-26" at the shoulders so the ewes are even smaller. Yep... people want them for grass trimmers but their fleece is much desired in the spinning world. I've made several inquiries to spinners & they all seem to be more than eager to purchase. They're suppose to be more than comical & very trusting. The price is the problem for sure but any ewes born here have already got a waiting list so marketing a breeding pair would be easy. Still trying to find more out. Judy
