HELP! I am thoroughly confused on what I should spray my fruit trees with this Spring to avoid wormy apples. I am trying to go completely organic this year. I have read about Neem oil and Horticultural oil and a lot of other things, but I am not sure what to buy or make. I live in Northwest Ohio and have two apple trees, two plum trees and a pear tree. The apples seem to be the only ones with big issues.

Anyone have any ideas for a general organic vegetable spray for the garden as well?

Thanks farm sisters!!

Stay blessed,

I use neem oil mixed with water and dr. Bronners sal suds on my apples and it works great. I have also used a mix of garlic oil, cinnamon and water it too works good on apples.

Try your state's Cooperative Extension service, Ohio has a good one called Ohioline. Since Northwest Ohio is so close to Michigan and Michigan is almost or maybe more commercial apple producing state than Washington State, and the climate is closer, you might also want to try MSU extension.
