HI - Just a quick question - I looked at the videos and picture letters on Pinterest and realized I don't have many of the objects that seem to be used. I have lots of vintage stuff that I thought would be fun to work with, but I don't have much in the scrapbooking categories (new things from the Hobby shops). Is it o-k to deviate from the you-tube type letters? I don't want to disappoint my trading partner.

I, for one, love vintage stuff and I know many farmgirls do. I also think that being our own unique self is what makes us enjoy what we do, making friends and sharing! I agree with Maddie's post!

Becky...Vintage is great!!! The whole idea is to be "Creative" YOUR WAY.
We don't want 25 Pocket Letters that ALL look identical.
I second CJ's request that we share our Pockets with Photos. Take a picture of the one you send out
and the one you receive. The one you send out because...your partner may not be able to post for some
reason and then you can for her (once she has received it) and obviously post what you received.

Hello Everyone! I have never done a pocket letter, but I was watching a TV show the other day and a lady was making a pocket letter. She did it really fast, but it did look rather easy to do and something that I could do. Funny how it came on TV right at the same time as this swap was being set up. Yes, it helps us know if our packages get to the their destination if you post, and also helps us learn how to do the different swaps when we can see pictures. In fact I have been going back through previous pages and looking for ideas.
And besides we all need to say thank you to the person who spent her time and money to make us feel special.

Shelia & Gayle ~ I have posted in this thread & the other thread labeled Pocket Letter, videos on how to make & what to use as fill ins or tucks, for the pockets. Also a video about mailing.
This swap is open to all, that being so you may get a partner that lives outside the USA. PLEASE let me know if you don't wish to ship outside the USA, before I post partners. I will bump up the the original thread, with the video for tuck ins.
