I finished up the Civics Challenge and want to encourage anyone to do it. I know we learned it all in school, some of several times, but I found that I had forgotten a lot of it over the years and there have been a few changes, like who was the Speaker of the House when you were in high school? Who is it now?
Considering that this is one of the wildest election in history it seemed like a good time to do a brush up course.

I don't suppose the Civics one covers here in the UK!

Hi Hilary, check with Brian he may be able to help you work something out where you can do British civics. I for one would love to know how the Parliament system works. All I know is what I learned from watching the British show House of Cards on PBS.

Let us know what you find out Hilary, I'm in Canada, and wouldn't mind a refresher either.

You have all been super busy finishing and applying for badges! Way to go ladies!!

Judith and Hillary, that is a great question. I will email my Auntie MaryJane and ask her.

I made some more progress on my cross stitch and now you can finally see the first tree! It’s super exciting. I will be starting the second tree when I work on it again.

I would like to do a civics badge for another country. Something I know very little about are the political stems of the other countries of the world.

Hi ladies,
MaryJane and I spoke about your question regarding applying for the Nellie Will-do Badge more than once, but with different forms of fiber art each time. This is perfectly acceptable.

Additionally, thank you for the idea for an International Civics Challenge Badge! We’ve added this to a list of new badges to brainstorm.

Also, great work on all the badges everyone! We’ve been enjoying reading them all!

Krista, your cross stitch is very beautiful! I hope you post a photo when it is done. Cross stitch is one of the few projects I have not tried. Tatting in another.

It is a kit (or was I think it has been discontinued) but I plan to start the companion piece when it gets cooler!

Hilary I'm partial to rabbits in needlework. I've done a few in wool applique. Must say sheep are my favorite. Enjoy working on it.

Hilary, that turned out great! Do you plan to frame it?

I brought my cross stitch with me in the car for our trip and soon found out it's pretty hard to do while driving. So I will have to wait until we get home to do some more work on it.
