Mine's rocking on the front porch early in the morning, drinking iced tea, and feeding ice to Annie.

Mine is knitting in my favorite outdoor rocker on my porch, with one dog in my lap, two by my side, and iced tea in my glass. Better if my dd is home and sitting next to me.
Second would be a walk with my dogs.
Third would be baking or making jam with Louis Armstrong in the background.

My simple pleasure is sitting on the floor playing with my son. I enjoy every moment and realize how blessed I am to watch him grow and learn instead of a day care seeing it all.

Sitting on my front porch and watching the birds eat and talk. I also like sittingin my backyard watching my granddaughter, watching my dogs play and the sun going down.

Mine is sitting in my Secret Garden "Amazing Grace" (named after my beloved Golden Retriever) watching the sun come up over Pikes Peak Mountain having my morning coffee. Nothing in the world like it!

Mine is picking my strawberries when they're ripe and sharing half a strawberry witness my dog. Another is bread hot from the oven.

Laundry dried outside. Hot, fresh bread with melty butter. Sitting on my barely-big-enough-for-a-chair stoop with a glass of ice water and some cross stitch. Cool breezes from the nearby canyon.

I have so many Simple Pleasures but my favorite right now in my life
is watching my grand children. I love how Elijah (3 yrs old) and I can get so silly
we drive his parents crazy. And Savannah Grace is 6 months old and just getting
some personality and also starting to crawl. My Two Older Grand-daughters Madeline
is 8 at the end of this month and just lost her first tooth! She is such a little lady!
Naomi on the other hand is 5 and she is the sassy/funny one. Also pretty head strong.
But can be so loving when she wants to be. Such a Character she is!
I don't want any of them to get older as I enjoy them right where they are. They are
my pride and joy and My Hearts Delight!
