Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the pants shown on the lovely lady on the very first page of the current issue of Mary Jane's Farm magazine are handmade, and if so, what is the pattern? I love them and they'd be great to sew up if the pattern is available somewhere. It's the page that says, "A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she will never outgrow your heart."

Thanks for any help.

I wonder if you could just post to Meg. I think she is the one wearing them.

Don't you just love those? They are vintage, unfortunately. Whenever I see a pair in a second hand store, I grab them quick. For many years I wore a pair that were denim/lined with plaid flannel. The style fits a woman's body better. Or at least they do my daughter and I. Makes me think we should take a pair apart and make a pattern. Sigh. Maybe when I get something off my plenty-full plate.

Thanks, I knew this was the right place to ask. I will scour etsy for vintage patterns and see if I can find something similar. They would be perfect for my regular day job and also for work around here with my animals. I like the high waist and the button on the side. Thanks again, MaryJane. :)

Mary Jane, that's a great idea to make a pattern. But, as you said, I'm sure you are VERY BUSY!
They are great looking and Meg just makes them look better!
