I just hit on something that maybe has been done already but I love it! I was painting a dresser yesterday and the weather has warmed up quickly so that when I laid my paintbrush down to move the furniture around it began to dry out. I finished painting but had these little beads of dry paint in my brush. When I soaked it in warm water and soap it wouldn't come all out. Stuck in the bristles. So I Started rummaging through my drawers to see how I could remove these little dried balls of paint. I saw my old flea comb and grabbed it and WOW, did it ever work GREAT! My paint brush is so clean and free of paint! All I had to do to clean the comb was take a towel with a little rubbing alcohol and wipe it and it came clean easily! Just didfferent but I am keeping that old comb!!

Thats a great idea! My mom always soaks hers in a mixture of hair conditioner and water after she cleans them to keep the bristles in good shape.

Wow, thank you both for the ideas, they are something to keep for that future project!
