Look who dropped by for lunch... Harry the Heron,,, lol!
What was really interesting, I watched him 'catch' what I first thought was a frog... but as he flew by the window,, I saw, it wasn't a frog but rather a mouse! I had no idea Heron's ate rodents.
Harry, strutting his stuff...
looking for lunch...
caught it!.. unfortunately I was not able to catch Harry in mid flight with the mouse... but I suspect Harry was one Happy bird!

Now wouldn't Harry look adorable in a man's apron? LOL! And with that long neck, maybe add a red bandana. Would look rather dashing don't you think? Hey, if the little fellow is going to be hanging around a farmgirl he needs
to man up and become a farmhand. LOL!
Eating mice? Who would have known they eat rodents. Oh well, as Julia Child's would say..
