Wow! Becky is such a busy woman! Melodia arrived yesterday! (named for my oldest g-grand daughter Melody) Becky gifted me with one of her beautiful dolls! I am so blessed, Becky...thank you. Now I am tearing up again.
Melodia is dressed in my favorite color midnight blue and her hat and dress are trimmed in white satin and pearls (ribbon flowers and white or navy bows). Her dress is in two layers with the over-skirt in scallops. Sleeves and underskirt are trimmed in scallops. 5 rows of scallops decorate the back. Melodia appears to be a a very modest young woman. However, she has agreed to display her beautiful undergarments. Becky gave her a beautiful, snowy white slip with a scalloped flounce at the bottom. She also made her white pantaloons with a flounce at the ankles and trimmed with blue ribbon.

Gorgeous!!!!! It blows my mind how giving Becky is!!! She is FGOTM yet is blessing others with her gorgeous dolls - and even more so, with her beautiful heart <3

My g-grand is just 4 and a wild child. So, I will keep this doll probably until I am gone! It is just too pretty to be placed in the hands of a pre-schooler. Melodia is named after my first born g-gdaughter Melody Judith Aldean. Maybe when I am gone she will be old enough for Melodia.
