It has been between 97-100 degrees these past few nights and last night... I told DH I was going camping.... ok, pretend camping...and sleeping out in my trailer.... DH thought I had gone over the edge.. then as I was heading out he asked if I wanted to take the pup with me for protection...lol! I declined, for two reasons... she would want to snuggle which would make it to warm for me and second I would have to take her potty at 5:30 in the morning... ummm no thank you! It actually got rather cool out in my trailer.... but oh what a good nites sleep I got...untill 6am when DH and the pup came to greet me and bring me my cup-o-java... Good morning Sunshine...it's gonna be a great day!

How fun Grace! I was just talking about pitching a tent in our backyard so we could camp with our boys. I figured if it turns out to be a disaster we could always bring them back in and put them to bed in their cribs. This way we can do a test run and not spend money or drive somewhere!

We did that with our daughter when she was around 6-7,, let her have her 2 BFF's.. and did the whole camping thing in the back yard,, but the convience of an indoor 'latrine'... lol! Now our daughter has a ginormous 36' 5th Wheel... complete with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, faux fireplace TV, microwave and air conditioning... ,,,yep, my baby girl knows how to "rough it!!"..LOL!

Lol! I love it Grace! Sounds like she sure does! I think those trailers are a bit to fancy for my boys. Especially when my boys are older. I want them digging in the dirt instead of watching tv. Technology is everywhere for kids nowadays. But then again 2 bedrooms would be nice... especially if they are at separate ends! I'll lock all the boys, including my husband, in one and I'll claim the second one for myself! I'll post a no boys allowed sign! Lol

We had a motorhome for a while and it wasn't that big and wasn't fancy. It was "vintage" however and we decided it was too much trouble and expense. So we sold it and bought a vintage popup camper . . . but we sold that too and went back to a tent. Talk about going backwards.
The glamper trailers, "Reiver's Rest" is for my daughter and me . . . not my hubby and me. It's too girly and too small. CJ

CeeJay,,, oh how we need our little 'girlie girl' trailers to play in... I can certainly 'rough it' and I have... but having a wee trailer with an over stuffed bed full of afghans and pillows,, a good book and a bunch of snacks that you don't have to share,,, is just the best! lol!

How fun! I was just telling my boys we should camp in our pop up out on our side yard this next weekend, they looked at me funny as it took a few moments to set in... Then they were totally up for it! My oldest broke his leg and is still recovering, soI thought home camping was a Fab idea!
