Mary, I received your PRECIOUS ATC's and just love them!!!! I was able to view the first third of the Eclipse and get a shot before our rain clouds set in. It's ok, it was pretty cool what I did see.
Yes, my cards were unusual as I made them a little larger than the standard ATC size. I hate to adit I was having troubles cutting out the sun flames really tiny so had to go a little larger so they wouldn't poke out past the cards. Then of course everything else had to stay the size they were.
Thank you so much for the ATC's and swap ladies. My cards are on display so the hubs can see when he gets back from Afghanistan. :)

Dianna... got your cards yesterday ( I don't check my mail every day). Loved them! Showed them to hubby. This has been an inspiring g swap.
Not much to see in Central Texas, so I watched it on the weather channel. I think we on,y got about 30 percent and I didn't have glasses. ( or a welding helmet!!)
Next one in 7 years and scheduled to go over a Texas. I'm definitely getting glasses! And if God wills it, I'll still be around then! Looking forward to it!!!

That was a fun swap and all so different. I love them. I received Dianna's today, They are great! Thanks Dianna!I loved the charms on yours.
Glad you enjoyed the moon pie, I found them in the store and knew they had to go with this swap.
We had fog in my area, we did get the light change though.

Dianna, I love your paintings! The Sun is so joyous! Adding a charm at the bottom is a nice touch too! :)

I sent all mine today! I finally finished crafting 4 trios for everyone! Yay! It was hard finding some quiet time as the entry to school is coming...-_- I hope you will enjoy them and, hopefully,they will reach you before the end of September... *chuckle*
I wasn't able to view the eclipse. Here, it was a really partly one (1/16 perhaps?) not enough to be mention anywhere on the news... I hope you girls enjoyed it enough for me too! :)

Marilou, we did not have much of anything here in Texas either. A former first grade student told me she remembered looking into her shoe box in 1979 to see the eclipse. That could be my only one, unless i live to be 80 or so when the next one passes over Texas. It was fun making the cards. I'm glad I joined in this fun activity.

We had fog and clouds that day but I did see some photos on the eclipse where some people went higher in the mtns to look at. It was nice. I think Oregon had some troubles a little bit because of the smoke from the fires. Kansas got a good look at it. I got to see that on someones cell phone. Very nice and awesome. They had it like midnight. It was dark and then the sun circling the moon was quite impressive.
