The other night my son spilled red Jell-o all over his white shirt. I washed it the best I could with cold water and it still was stained red. So I read that if you dab rubbing alcohol on the stain it will come out, so I gave it a shot and it worked! All the red is gone and the white shirt looks just like it did before. It was a great cleaning trick!

Thanks Krista for the tip. Sure beats having to use bleach.

That's good to know! Alcohol also takes out ballpoint pen stains and cleans microfiber. I have some in a spray bottle to clean hubby's old chair. :)

I wish I would have known about this when I had my microfiber couch. It always ended up with mysterious stains and they were a pain to get out. Seems like it's helpful with a couple of things!

Krista, that is AWESOME! I've never heard of it before and am thrilled to tuck your tip away for future! I am so excited! Red is the hardest color to get out of anything! Thank you so, so much for sharing! Hugs - Nini

I am always terrified of eating something red while wearing white for that exact reason. Red is crazy hard.

Krista, this is a great tip to know and somehow I missed it the first time you posted. I will certainly keep your success in mind the next time I have a red stain.
