We are Blessed to be called Americans...
I am blessed that my mother brought me to the USA, that she became a US Citizen when I was 3years old.
Here is my door banner (idea from last months MJF issue)...
We are spending the day at our daughter & son-n-law.. when I asked what I could bring, she said dessert,,, so I asked the kiddos what they wanted... here is what I made..
(yes I made 12,, yes there are only 11 in this photo..hmmm, I have no idea where #12 went..heeheehee! )
I am bringing ice cream too!

I've always loved 4th of July because my birthday is July 6, but I never got to take treats to school. My mother and her family came to the U.S. from Latvia after WWII and settled in North Dakota.
