Whatever you choose to call it, keep your eyes open for June's full moon this Saturday through Tuesday morning. On Monday morning, (June 17 at 4:31 a.m. EDT), the moon will be directly opposite from the sun. So hopefully if you are an early riser and have clear skies remember to take a look. Don't forget to watch in the evening for Mars and Mercury on the 17th in the west-northwest sky at 5 degrees from the horizon. Please share any photos you take in case it is cloudy and many of us miss it!
Keep looking up! Dawn in IL
