I think I better check my e-mail. I was focused on school stuff until the dew dried off the grass. Then Mom and I got busy mowing the grass before the rain began. I finished the last foot around the back corner of the house and felt two rain drops hit the top of my head. Church now via facebook, then e-mail.

Any fabric swap that you do not have the particular fabric posted just let us know and send what you have. Right now we can't get fabrics, thread etc. like we normally could have gotten. Yesterday the one day we go out, I went to Wamart and there wasn't any thread, fabric and very little else! Not even vegetable plants!
I did score the plants at our local farm store today and planted them already! Very grateful for them!

I'm so happy you found some plants.
I need to go to the water shop, post office and the feed store. Thursday is pay day so I'm thinking that is when I will go. I will visit MSQC for some fabric...if I don't find some in my stash.

The Water Shop sells Reverse Osmosis water...some call it filtered water. Our well water has so much minerals 5hat it destroys a coffee maker within 3 months.

Terri, by all means a bucket or glass of water right from the well is so good. I drink well water about once a day. Several years ago we received a letter concerning a business that had closed up. It was about five miles away from us. They had barrels of stuff that leaked into the ground. They removed the soil but..... The buildings still sit vacant.
At that time I thought we should think about filtering our water. So we have an Alexa Pure water filter. The man at the water shop told me of a man who said his life had been pretty miserable due to kidney stones... Until he began drinking water shop water. That is amazing!

Thank you, Sherry, Darlene, Rebecca and Marilyn for your terrific fabrics. I plan to use all the patriotic fabrics I receive for a border around a Quilt of Valor I am making for my Dad who was in the Korean war.
About well water, our well services four houses, and it is wonderful! The land we are on was a huge farm that has been divided up into many, many lots, which are all around us. Some of them are so steep and rocky that you can't build anything on them. We are at the bottom on the riverbank along with nine other houses. There are several more houses on the riverbank but further down the road from this first group. All of our yards go up behind our houses and some are steeper than others. I said all that to say that we have our well checked but every time, the report comes back that it is just fine. I don't know how deep it is, but it has serviced these four houses since 1983 so we all are very blessed with a great well.
