Cute bath mat, Marie!! I've seen some similar things made on pinterest by crochet'ing with t shirt yarn!

Yes, I have loads of t-shirt yarn. I plan to make myself a rug to lay by my bed. I want to clean my feet off before I put them into bed.

Marie, I love the bath mat. It’s very creative! I have seen some t-shirt ones too. I have thought about making braided t-shirts into dog toys.

I got together with my sister in law and we decided to make some wall signs. Took us longer than we thought because the vinyl was a challenge to work with. I need to wait for a day that there is no wind or rain so I can clear gloss spray one sign. The other one needs to be finished painted. Then I need my hubby to hang them! I will be getting together with her again next month to make some more!

After doing very basic housekeeping today I just played. I made some artsy-fartsy ATCs, teased the cats, looked at property on the internet, and finished a book I started two months ago. It was fun; the only thing that would have made it better was a friend to play with. Soon, very soon.....

Grace -- that looks like a statue of me sitting in my recliner in the evenings. I tease them with string, balls, fake moussies,. I have one that is a retriever -- he is really fun to play with.

Grace, are you saying you don't tease your cats? I tease my dogs. Well mainly Maylee. It's fun to see them get all wound up and playful!
I didn't do any crafting this weekend. It was Everleigh's birthday, so we spent the whole weekend celebrating her. This week my hubby is gone on a work trip so I am going to pull out the diamond painting I'm making for him and work on that.

Something little and simple for me today... my grandfather bought this little ceramic car for my grandmother in 1948 at a little pottery shop called the pottery shack in Laguna Beach, CA. I believe my grandmother kept a little cactus in it, they have both since passed. Today I just added a little stuffing and fabric and will now use it as pin cushion on my desk. I find it just so sweet...

Learning more all the time about the wonders of my Viking Brilliance Embroidery/Sewing machine. Here is my latest "In-the-Hoop" creation. It's a large sized Composition Book covered. It's now on it's way to one of our Farmgirls as a "make-up" gift for a bungled swap.

A dear friend of mine asked me to crochet some towel toppers for her. She plans on giving them to her mother for mother’s day. I have one done and will start working on the next one today. This way I can get them to her before Sunday. I’ll share a picture once I have them done.
