Tickcing prints make great pillow backings. A very easy way to give an old-fashioned look.

I prepped this today. It’s basted now so I can hand quilt it. It will be quilted using size 8 pearl cotton and a larger stitch. :)

Thank you all so much. I’m trying to get four quilt tops to the finished status before the end of the year. This is number 2. I gotta get busy! Lol

I know what you mean. I am grabbing time to finish a twin quilt that I'll donate to our Animal shelter fundraiser. I also have 3 more to work on for a DCF children's closet. It's hard to find time .

Winnie that is so sweet! Love to decorate with apple things. The red ticking is a great touch!

Karen, beautiful quilt!

Today I made the binding for the quilt I'm taking to my nephews re-wedding vows in September. The binding is machine sewed onto the front, now I just need to hand sew on the back to finish.

I'm also thinking about the apple swap items I'm planning on making/getting.

And yes! That is a glass of wine you see,, it was my little helper! Lol!

I have a sting of itty bitty mini lights, I think I might drape the lites over or around my flamingo

Flamingo decor are wildly popular down here in Florida, specially over on the coastal areas. You can find them in all sorts of places to purchase. I would say they are a go to staple for many Floridians for their gardens or as lawn ornaments.

Your flamingo is just too too adorable, Katmom. Have you named him yet? I am doing a wee junk journal challenge with two other Farmgirls, and my jj has a flamingo mascot named George. LOL.

Grace, it looks like you may even be able to paint your flamingo. But that’s a whole other project!
