Project number 2 for the crafters retreat. It’s a four day retreat and as the hostess I do something for everyone each day we are there. :) something small!

I wish you could all come with me! How fun would that be?? :)

Do you teach something every day? Or do people bring there own projects to work on?

Great little gifts Karen!! I got my leaf runner back and got the binding sewed on yesterday. I am working on mittens made out of wool sweaters. I have 3 shirts ready to cut out for presents, and shopping bags to resize and make. Keeping busy on the gifts for Christmas.

I am finding it hard to find sweaters in Goodwill or other thrift stores that are 100% wool or other animal fibers that can be felted for mittens. I have the mitten pattern, but haven’t made any yet.

Karen, both of your little projects are so cute! And your retreat sounds like so much fun!

Shenandoah, your stockings are adorable. I can see why your coworkers wanted some. Great job.

Linda, I don’t teach anything. I just give the ladies that attend a little gift everyday we are there. Everyone brings their own projects to work on. The owner does have a little corner store with a few things but it is mostly geared to paper crafters. :)

I started to work on a flower elastic for Everleigh for her hair. I finished the top part of the flower and will start the bottom part today. The flower needs a little more shaping but I love how it's coming along.

Yesterday and today I finished the binding on 3 quilts. The 2 Star Wars quilts are for my grandsons for their birthday today. They picked out the panels about 3-4 years ago and they are 17 today, so I hope they still like the quilts. LOL!

The jungle quilt will be for our newest grandson - maybe for next year, since I've made him a quilt this year and he has several others from the baby shower.

Linda, your quilts look great! I bet all your grandsons will love their new quilts. I am not a Star Wars fan but I can bet they still are even those it's been 3 years.

I have Bextens cow almost finished. I need one more leg and the head and then I can sew it all together.

I finished Everleigh's other scrunchie last night. Now I am done crocheting for her unless I have time to make another before Christmas. I will do a gray one then I think.

Linda your quilts are lovely.

Krista, love your projects. Bexten is adorable. I'm assuming here that you are crocheting. Are you using a pattern? I've been ignoring this desire to knit dolls. Like I need another project! lol I've been toying with getting this book by Laine ... cuteness overload!

I've seen some of the projects knitted on IG, absolutely adorable. A gal at The Woolly Thistle (one of my favourite online yarn shop) showed the duck ... restraining myself! lol

Thanking you for sharing your projects.

Going to sew binding on a couple of my queen size quilts - will hopefully finish one today. These are the 2 I need to get done.

I have more binding to do, too.

Carole, yes I am crocheting. I don't know how to knit yet. It's on my list of things to learn. Both of my projects have patterns. Almost everything I make has a pattern. I am not sure I have the talent to make something up on my own. I think that book looks fun and the projects look so cute! If you decide to get the book and make one of those adorable projects I would love to see it!

Very pretty quilts Linda.

Oh Krista, the crochet hair scrunchie is so cute!

And btw… it was a sad day today for me… I had to tuck my “Krista Original, Crochet Gnome away,,, so I can put all my Winter & Christmas
Gnomes out.. but next Spring it will come out again to brighten my days as I wait for summer to arrive …
