I received my package from Darlene (HealingTouch). She spoiled me. She had combined two swap packages in one mailing so it was a double treat.

I was sent a postcard with a nice note, 3 packages of Twinning's cold brewed iced tea packets, 2 packages of Wyler's Light beverage mix, a flip-flop sticker, a fan and a lovely patriotic banner. The dishcloth is made up as a pocket. I love it. Thank you.

What is the pocket for ? Does it hold a type of soap bar?

Jill used a piece of string running through a button to secure three corners together. The dishcloth hanger loop at the top loops around the button to close. She used this configuration to hold all the small tucks. I will dismantle it so it lays flat for attachment to the cotton dishcloth afghan I am making.

Beth, your envelope came today! Such a pretty pale pink/peachy color! I don't think the picture does the color justice, but its lovely!

I'm glad yours arrived safely and that you liked it.

Winnie, How beautiful. Your gifts are absolutely perfect. It is full of surprises. I could not resist diving into the bag of taffy, it was so good. The pot holder will come in handy. And the frog that hopped onto the dishcloth. It is so cute. That had be difficult to do. (how did you know I like frogs?) As I opened the towel, I had focused on the stitches and rick-rack. As I was arranging things for the photo, I discovered the yo-yo with watermelon for the hanging loop. Then, when refolding it, I found FGOTM. What does that stand for?

Thank you Winnie for everything. Happy July!

Darlene (doctordar), thank you for this beautifully-made dishcloth as well as the card, tea and needle threader! Your knitting is very nice; I wouldn't know your were just learning. And, so happy you liked your dishcloth as well. Enjoy your weekend! Many blessings!

Keep shining!

Awww! Thank you, Natalie! I am trying out new knitting patterns now that are a bit more challenging. These dish cloth swaps have really motivated me to become a knitter and I'm enjoying this new fiber art so much! Glad you liked the July dish cloth. Looking forward to the August one! Hugs and stitches!

I'm glad that you like them, Marilyn! I had a fun time making them. Thank YOU for the adorable dish cloth/hot pad and scrubby! I love the texture of the scrubby...I think it's going to work great. And they both look so pretty in my kitchen. Handmade things from a Farmgirl Sister are special.
