Yahoo... my Peonies are finally blooming...

the pink ones are a bit slower.. but should open in a day or two..

the pink ones are a bit variegated in color...

Beautiful! Love that color. Do they smell good too? I've never grown peonies.

These have a slight floral scent,, but the pink ones have no scent...
I just love how vibrant the colors are...
I have to check them good when cutting to bring into the house as they are loaded with big ants... lol!

Oh so pretty. Mine are just opening up also. I picked some last night, and they smell oh so wonderful. The whole kitchen smells of them.

THOSE ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!! I'm definitely envious but in a good way! :) We cant grow those here, too hot! Or rhubarb which I love dearly. Super nice Grace!

How beautiful! Peonies are one of my favorites. Wish I had dug them up before I moved.

My Sarah Berhardt ~ pink peonies opened.. OMG !! they are huge!
As for my Karl Rosenfield,, they are awesome!

Sarah-pink and Karl-drk pink.


I just read that making Tea from Peony flowers has a lot a medicinal attributes..
Has anyone made Tea with their Peony plants?

Grace, they are beautiful! We had peonies at our last house and I miss them. They are so big and beautiful. I will be planting me some more here when we are ready for flowers. Enjoy all those beautiful colors!
