I bet Lily June is right Connie. I mailed yours yesterday as well, and I hope you and Lily June like it. I helped Oliver make one for 4-H and he loved doing it. This was such a fun swap.

I wasn't able to join in this swap.. up to my eyeballs in work on the property.... but... I am looking forward to seeing everyone Windsock.
I might even 'borrow' some ideas to make one later in the month when I have less projects on my plate...

I'm glad to hear it arrived. I hope you found the note and large shell that were wrapped separately. The streamers are meant to symbolize the sparkling ocean waves. Enjoy !!

Well ladies, as I came out of the shower this morning, I noticed something on the floor in front of our upright freezer. At some point that freezer had stopped freezing...and chocolate ice cream and melted frost were coming out. What a mess! It only took me two and a half hours to empty and bag up what was there. I'm in the process of cooking the meats for the two big out door dogs. The fruits are ready to become fruit leathers tomorrow. The chickens enjoyed some of the veggies.
The point of this story is I never left home...So tomorrow perhaps.
Yes I did find that beautiful extra shell and the note. Thank you.
April and Jami your wind sock is very nice also.

Thank You Connie and Lily June for the beautiful windsock. I love how you used a vintage piece of embroidery and the gingham ribbons on it are just perfect. Lily June you were right, I do Love it!

I also love all the sweet extras you included Connie. The vintage buttons , embroidery and fabric will all be used in upcoming projects. Thank You so much for the magazines as well, I always read a bit in the afternoon when I sit down with a glass of iced tea.

I received my windsock from Jill this afternoon. I love it. I will hang it tomorrow and take a picture. I love it and the goodies you sent - 2 tea bags (Jasmine Green Tea and Earl Grey), some shortbread cookies (already gone and delicious) and a small jar with some beads and buttons and a top to match my windsock. Thank you so much for being my partner for this swap.
