Please pray for Eastern Iowa communities that experienced a Derecho wind storm on August 10th. Winds over 100 mph uprooted trees on buildings, homes, businesses, schools, churches, apartment buildings creating a lot of damage. Corn crop ruined. Electric poles snapped off so no electricity for many days.

Farmgirl friends are fun.

My daughter lost a home due to one of this here awhile back. Horrible destruction.
Prayers for them.

We saw that on TV and it was terrible. It is scary because our animals depend on the corn for feed. Our little bitty corn patch has fallen too000
i can sorta understand the pain--but oh how awful it is for sure.

The corn crop in eastern Iowa was practically flattened in many fields and a loss for many farmers. So sad
Mother nature was really angry that day. Huge loss of trees also
