Marilyn, where do I even begin! Thank you so much for the INCREDIBLE pocket letter package! I am so impressed! First I was struck by how full and heavy it was, you really loaded up this goodie! And I love that you put a ruffle ribbon on one side, that really dressed it up so beautifully! It arrived over the weekend, but I like to wait to open everything until I get to work so I can share the fun with Ida and the other ladies (whom have all come to know you through our swaps!). The pins and needles and fabric (dish cloths? shilly shally? either way, I LOVE them!), quilting template, seeds, tea, cider, SO MANY punches and embellishments, lovely papers, buttons, clothespin-clips, it goes on and on! The snowman noses made me laugh out loud. The pumpkin sewing kit, OMG so adorable!! Please know that I have held and appreciated every single item, you are super generous and thoughtful! Thank you for making my day with your sweet letter, too. I hope you enjoy the new puppy, I'd love to see a photo! Thank you again, this has been so fun

Sounds good - this inspired me to do one with my family that are scattered all over the U.S., I have great nieces and nephews that are total distance learning, we are going to start one for a Valentine swap with kids and adults as well. Wish me luck. It should be fun. I will most definitely participate in the next Farmgirl Swap too. Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Jill I'm so happy that you like the pocket letter!
The squares of flannel enclosed in the 5" squares secured with a quilting pin are actually handkerchiefs. Last winter Julie in North Dakota sent me some. They are so soft and I have one in my tote bag. Just like hankies off old ... but softer and after you use it just toss in the laundry, and after the wash and dry you are back in business.
