Well Phooey fiddles!
The company that makes 'Peeps" won't be making their seasonal ones due to COVID-19
just googled it...
"Peeps Won't Release Halloween Or Christmas Shapes This Year"
Sep 09, 2020 · While PEEPS® Marshmallow Candies, MIKE AND IKE® and HOT TAMALES® would typically be available in fun shapes and packaging sizes for the Halloween and holiday seasons, unfortunately, due to COVID-19,the seasonal shapes will not go into production."...

I read that too and also wondered what that has to do with covid. It seems like we could do with a little more joy rather than less. 2020-- the Peepless year.

I don't know about the Peep's factory but plants in Paris may not run all lines at the same time because of distancing. Also working short handed because of employees who have to take off to care for their children since daycare centers aren't opened. Kimberly-Clark in town pays employees who have to look after their children.
Now back to Peep's - another guilty little pleasure of mine.

What a disappointment! I love to get Christmas peeps in my stocking!! I've never seen the ghosts - those are cute! I love to put a peep on the top of my hot cocoa :)
I heard that Yankee candle isn't producing Christmas candles this year. Not sure if it's true or not.

NO!!! No holiday Peeps this year? I love all the holiday forms they make and the Halloween ones are some of my favorites. Hopefully, they will be back up and running because what would an Easter basket look like with no Peeps???

I always used the Ghost and cats and Pumpkins to decorate my Holly's Birthday cake on Oct.25th.You can create cute cakes using them.

Oh Dear,, seems like everything will be late or in limited supply.
I had to run into the market for kitty food,, ran past the Peanut butter isle,, and spotted the 'Fluffernutter'.. I bit my lip and reminded myself,, 'Bad for Diet'... uuggh! it was hard not grabbing a jar.. but I have found a few pounds that I really don't need,, so I am being strong, and resisting,,, that's not to say the next time I am in the market, temptation will win! lololol!

I also heard that there will be no major network showing of “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”. I am glad I bought it on DVD over a decade ago, but still.

All these little disappointments are adding up!!! I am with you all, PHOOEY!!! Plus with our numbers surging upwards, the city is discouraging door to door trick or treating. Instead, they are offering ,what sounds like really fun, a family drive through event at the public golf course and then a showing of the movie Hocus Pocus. There are some other things that are happening as well so I think it offers a nice and free alternative evening that will be safe for everyone. But, I will miss the fun of dressing up and handing out candy. I love Halloween for all the fun and good cheer loved by kids.

Yes, phooey on no Charlie Brown. Glad I have it on dvd. So will be watching it with my granddaughter.
They haven't canceled door to door here but we will be doing something else.
