Snow already. Those pictures make me feel colder. We have been staying pretty cold here, but I’m not ready for snow. At least not until mid November. When it’s closer to Santa time lol!

Grace, that snow sure looks pretty! At 87 degrees today, I can't even wrap my arms around that kind of view from my window!

Wowzers,, Our heater has been running literally non-stop! I suspect we will have a hellacious electric bill.. and I keep the heater at 67'
Unfortunately this house does not have a fire place,, I am looking at those faux elect. heater fireplaces... that look like a full sized fireplace...but I am wondering, if it will be cost effective as opposed to just using the whole house heater....
They run about $600 to $1200 depending on size and design..

Anyone have one? any thoughts?

Danny and I were looking at a masonry heater which would have been able to heater an entire 2800 sq ft. House. Also my mom long ago had bought one of those heaters built and manufactured by the Amish. She stayed peachy keen cozy after that! Sorry Grace you have to go through all this. I bet its gorgeous there tho.....envious in a good way! Best of luck

Grace, any chance of getting a propane fueled fireplace? I wonder if that would be cost effective.

Snow sure is pretty though.

Grace, we must have caught a tiny bit of your weather. We had some small snowflakes falling yesterday. Nothing stuck and it only lasted about a half hour. But it definitely made it feel like Christmas was on the horizon.
