My parents are currently growing sunflowers on their farm here in sunny Queensland, Australia. One of their friends is a photographer and just captured some shots of the patch. They certainly brighten your day!

They are beautiful! Thank you for brightening up my cloudy winter morning. I love sunflowers but live in a wooded area, not enough sunshine to grow them. Sunflowers always make me smile when I see them. Thanks for sharing with us, keep those photos coming!

So beautiful!

I had never seen a field full of sunflowers until I moved to Tennessee. It was really awe inspiring.

Hi Nicole - Yes, America has been making the news here again! We have been seeing the heavy snow falls on the TV. I hear Texas is in a state of Emergency. We used to get some snow when we were living in Olympia, WA, we not the dumping that they experience through other states. My husband misses the snow - he hasn't been skiing for 10 years. No such thing as snow where we live here in Queensland. Some parts of Australia will get snow in the winter, but certainly not like you guys. Half the time they have to make fake snow just to get the ski fields open in NSW and Victoria. Anyway, enjoy the sunflowers! I was hoping they would brighten someone's day. They certainly brighten mine. I never get sick of seeing them.
