On our other (last house) property, hubby made me some 'tire planters,, and they are still used by the current owner.
So pestered DH to make me another one..
I also spotted a 'tea cup' looking one,,, and he will make it ... when he has a bit of spare time from other chores...
In them mean time he also made me some sconces, for our driveway and my garden..
and I made a bird feeder from a cheesy brassy chandelier and saucers,,,
Gotta luv cheap Thrift store finds,, the Chandelier was only $5 and a box of 8 sconces was only $5.. and I but the cheapo $2 cans of spray paint at wally world. The solor light sticks are .98cents at Wally World...
Fun affordable garden deco.

Oh and FYI... did you notice the black mail box by my garden? yep,, we took it out and replaced a security, locking mailbox and now this one houses my gloves string, and plant pokes and a few other things.
I love re-purposing...

Grace...those are all so Adorable. I love making something out of treasured finds too.
Those Security Mailboxes are also...so much safer than the other ones are. We get a lot of
mail theft around here. It is so infuriating.
Hope your weather is getting as nice as ours is heading for.

Lovely garden decorations Grace. You always have the best repurposing ideas. How are your birds loving there new feeder? My birds here are little piggies. I have to feel up their feeder almost every other day. I need to get them a bird bath now.

SO CUTE! I love that, Grace! I love the planter, I love the garden gate and sign, I LOVE the chandelier! Your garden is just so charming!!!! And what a sweetie your hubs is! So talented! Lucky, blessed you!

I decided to Not put tea cups on the Chandelier bird feeder,, the birds seem to like flinging the seeds from the plate.. which the quail like to peek at off the ground..
Plus, if it rains, the seeds dont sit and get soggy like they would if in a tea cup.
