Ugh! Super hot and going to be back in the 100's for the next couple of days!
So hubby let Ginger play in her pool,,,
Hubby decided it was to hot and put the Eady-up... up for her... What a good dog dad!

Lol, that's so sweet! We used to get koda a small pool like that too! Hrs got so much fur he'd get so hot here! Now I can't even get him out of the house when its this hot to pee!! He runs out and before I can close the front door he's done and running back up the steps!! Stay cool Grace! You, the hubs and the fur critters! I heard falls just around the corner!! ;)

Fall? I think there used to be a season of that name somewhere between summer and winter, or, if you live in California, between dry and damp. We didn't get damp last year so I'm really hoping for it this year. We had hundreds several days this week too but the weatherman is promising 91 for tomorrow.
Love the pup- in the pool. Grace, you should hop in there with him. I try to keep our elderly kitties in during the heat and smoke but most of them just love laying out in the heat.

Many years ago when my Alaskan Malamute was alive she would play in a pool like that in the summer. She loved the cold water on hot days. I went through many of those kiddie pools for her. I should really get my dogs a new pool. I bet they would love it. Stay cool!

Love those pool photos of Ginger!! We were stifling hot and humid again today with a heat index up to 105. Just another Florida summer day. UGH!! Now, this thing mentioned called Fall. What is that and how do you get one?? LOL!! We still have hurricane season to go through!! This time of year, I am about half crazy from constant heat and humidity every day with nary a change in sight. If anyone finds a Fall, will you let me know?? Do you order it from Amazon??LOL!!

My in laws just adopted a new German Shepard Puppy, they have a puppy pool for her as well - she LOVES is! Its so much fun to watch her frolic in her own little water park! What we don't do for our fur babies!! It's hot and HUMID here, we're also covered in smokey skies from all our forest fires... we do get a peak at the sunshine every once in a while!

I entered "Fall" at Amazon and it gave me a Medic Alert and melatonin. I translate this as things to use in the fall of your life instead of the fall of the year. Entering "Autumn" was slightly better with a pumpkin spice necklace and a jigsaw puzzle.
Our weatherman lied again. Now he said tomorrow will be 91. It's always "tomorrow".......

LOL!!!! Judith that first Amazon search was hilarious!! Thanks for the tip to use the word Autumn. When it is a 95 day with heat index at 105 in September , I might need some melatonin so I can sleep through the suffocating heat and humidity until November or whenever we get better weather!! LOL!! Kinda like bear hibernation in reverse conditions!

I may try melatonin again if trying to sleep in heat gets too uncomfortable. I've used it before and found it works well for several days then I have to not take it for awhile before taking it again. We have three fans in the bedroom; air blowing around makes you think it is cooler if nothing else.

Judith, my doctor said to not use Melatonin for more then a week,, then stop for a week or two ,,
I do spray lavender water on my pillow a few min before I go to bed,,, to help me relax.

That makes sense. I have a lavender sachet by the bed and a big bottle of lavender essential oil. Along with my headsets and iPod with lots of books.
