Hey Ladies!!!
PLEASE DON'T FORGET OUR SPECIAL DAY OF PRAYER ON WEDMESDAY NOVEMBER 17th!!! GOD SURELY HEARS OUR PRAYERS AS WE JOIN TOGETHER FOR THIS SPECIAL DAY OF PRAYER!!!
I would like for us to set aside a time for a Special Day of Prayer. I have chosen Wednesday November 17th. There are so many things...situations and people we need to pray for. The past couple of years have been times like we could never have imagined. So many people have lost loved ones due to natural causes and multitudes have lost loved ones to Covid. Sweet innocent children have been filled with anxiety and sadness over their school situations and being home so much. But non the less the Lord has never left us or forsaken us. We not only need to pray to the Lord but Praise Him for what He has done for us and continues to bring us through. If you would please post here on this forum saying you will join what I hope will be many other farm girls who will be praying. We need to pray for our country and leaders...for the health and safety of our country and families and most of all for those who have never accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior!!! If you have prayer requests that you would like to share on here please do so. Or just post as an unspoken request. I know and believe that God hears our prayers and will answer our prayers as we join together in prayer!!!
I look forward to joining each of you in prayer and hearing how the Lord answers our prayers and moves in situations where we so desperately need help from the Lord!!!

Judy thank you for setting this day of prayer! I read once that we as Christians don't realize the power we have in prayer. I used to only pray at night, then days later realize that I had forgotten to pray for a friend that asked me specifically to pray for something. I felt so sad about that, I decided to keep a prayer journal, which only works if you remember to write it down and then look at it. It's hard having ADD, which I only discovered as an adult, but I am learning ways to cope with. My solution to the prayer requests now is to stop what I am doing and just take a few seconds to pray right then and there! If I read about something that needs prayer, same thing. As my tag line says, " A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel" has always been my favorite quote and brings me peace. As the Bible says in Psalm 34:17-The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.

Judy, Nov 17th is now in my day planner as a day of prayer. I too have need of prayers but I choose to leave them unspoken. The Lord knows my needs and all others before we ask.

Oh Judy! This is wonderful!! I will SO place this on my calendar!! I BELIEVE with all my heart in the power of prayer! Especially when 2 or more are gathered in His name!! We give Him permission ( so to speak) to open the avenues of His power and intercession in lives, in our lives! Wirh Danny gone its been incredibly stressful here handling all the duties of husband, maintenance, yard, finances, plus mine as mom, wife and Gardner. Sara started back to school this year after hiatus from covid in the schools last year and had major anxiety! It was almost debilitating for her. Took her to see a naturopathy who specializes in ERT for ptsd military patients and she did this once a week for a month. Expensive but worth it as she is doing great mow and her grades are great! But not everyone has that luxury. Sadly. I wish so much I could help ALL these kids! Anyway, YES! I'm a praying fool and will be there with you Nov. 17th ( as I am now already praying) but where there strength there's power! God is so good!!!

Thank you for organizing this Judy! I will be joining in the day of prayer! Prayer is beyond powerful, and quite necessary for us, as faith-filled beings. I once heard a priest say that prayer is to the soul what water and food are to the body.... refreshing, nourishing, and absolutely necessary to stay alive!! I took this to heart and developed a good prayer routine. In the past I taught religious education at my parish, I had students from 1st through 12th grades and I taught them all that everything they do can be a prayer, so long as they do so with grace and respect and put the intentionality of prayer into their activity. The easiest action to teach was always singing, it is a prayer twice, the words that are being sung are a prayer, and the very act of singing is a prayer!!
