Good afternoon! I’m Kerie, and I’m new to the forum. My hubby and I have a mini-farm (5 acres) in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. We have 2 grown daughters, and we’re empty nesters.

I love sewing, quilting, cross stitch, and restoring old sewing machines. I dabble in crocheting, but I’m not vey good at it yet.

I recently got off of all social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) as it really wasn’t adding anything positive to my life and attitude.

Have a wonderful day! :)

Nice to "meet" you Kerie. Looking forward to seeing you around the chatroom. Take a look at my "Swap Questionnaire" under the Farmgirl Swaps page. These are some ideas I am kicking around for swaps in the new year. Let me know what you like. Would love to have you participate.

Howdy,Kerie! Welcome!! You will certainly enjoy the forum! Positivity AND good food for the soul! I'm a Painter, mixed media artist learning sewing and quilting from some of these amazing ladies! We have a small 'farm' plot also( 17) alongside 40 acres of woods! Retired military, but the hubs still works supporting our military. My grand daughter and I hold the fort down here while he's away. You will enjoy the sharing and caring of others here for sure. Way better than Facebook and Instagram! ;)

Big Welcome for sure. I was in Oklahoma when I was 19 years old---it was beautiful for sure. We heard the word mooched up and I still use it and love it---meaning messed up. Is that a common word there? Never heaard it used here.
