I moved from California to Texas in December 2021 I was packing up my things to go, and I decided to put the things that needed to be finished in a box of their own. When I arrived in Texas I looked for that box so I could earn my badges for the UFOs. I did post the pictures in Farmgirl Connection. I did give away some of the projects that I knew I did not want to finish. I have a habit of starting new diamond dots and getting bored of them then stopping. I then will get a new one out and do the same. So I have several ones that are not done. So I will finish the rest of them. I picked the diamond dots birds to start with. It took me 42 hr to finish it. I also did two bookmarks that took me 4 hrs. to do.

Allison those are beautiful! A friend just introduced me to the diamond dots. Bookmarks are a great idea to use up leftover beads. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Allie, those turned out great! I love working with diamond paintings, but I never thought to make a bookmark with left over beads that’s a great idea!

The bookmarks came in a kit. I got it at Hobby Lobby. They were a lot of fun to make. Just try to finish them in one sitting, unlike me.

Beautiful Allie! What do you do withe extra dots? My daughter says she just tosses them. I hate to do that. Sometimes there are a lot.
I never thought to use the extra dots for bookmarks Wanda.

Denise I put mine in a mason jar because it’s pretty, but now I want to try and make some bookmarks. You could use graph paper to work out a design.

That is very beautiful. My daughter gave me a diamond dots kit to do but I haven't gotten around to doing it. I try to avoid collecting UFO's myself. It drives me crazy when I see that I've done it again and have a couple other things to finish as well as what I've actually working on at the moment. Be blessed!

Allison, these projects are gorgeous!! Your little book marks are lovely as well and make sweet tuck in gifts for a special friend or family. What will you do with the big piece? Is it a pillow front? The colors are bright and I love the bird theme.

There are blank sheets that you can use to create your own designs. My Granddaughter found them at Hobby Lobby, but I'll bet that you could order them online too!

Nancy thanks for the tip. I recently found the kits like Allies for the bookmarks, but did not see the blank sheets. Maybe they will have them online.
