One of the first things I saw when I opened my June-July issue was Mary Jane's note about Gokotta. I'm an "early bird" from way back. It's really one of my favorite times each day. I'm always up and moving before anyone else in the house. It's my quite time, journal time, whatever I need it to be each day. Sometimes I head out with the camera and get very lucky. This buck was one of three that was passing through. He was thoughtful enough to stand and pose for me.

Stacy and Dianna, I have always been a morning person. I love to watch and hear the world wake up around me. There's peace in the early morning before the day becomes too busy to hear birds singing or take the time to feel a cool breeze as it blows across gardens.

Stacy, your picture of the buck is beautiful.

Early morning is my favorite time of day. I love to be up in the quiet of the morning.

Gorgeous picture! I love watching the world wake up too but it would never happen if I didn’t set an alarm! Lol. I’m not naturally an early riser. :)

Beautiful picture Stacy. I’m typically not a morning person but I was up early today and it was nice having some time for myself before the rest of the house was up. I need to work on that.
