I love keeping cute dish towels that I find at Dollar stores and Walmart on hand.
When I need a quickie-last minute gift, I can either crochet the tops of the towels or using fabric remnant, I can stitch up a padded top.
Sometimes I even add a bit of lace or other trim at the bottom for decoration.
This towel will be going in a basket with a couple of wooden spoons, Pasta and pasta sauce.
To a cute couple who like to cook,, if you notice, the little button has intertwining circles, to represent their love for each other and cooking together.

Grace, I love the towel and the gift idea. I like the idea of having extra towels on hand. I could always crochet some tops and have them ready to go.

Hey Krista, I use to crochet them (top part).. but with this design, it’s like having a built in hot pad on top/attached to the towel.
Either way, dew or crochet,,, the towels are a cute quick gift.
