I had a long day today in the kitchen canning salsa! I ended up with 18 cans!! I am so excited to have some salsa to add to my storage. Of course we had some tonight to make sure it tasted great lol. The best part is all the peppers and the onions came from my garden. The only thing I needed to purchase was the tomatoes and I got some from a local vendor. Nothing better than knowing all your hard work from the garden can turn into a delicious recipe.

I'm so excited you're getting into canning Krista! It's a wonderful feeling to have food in the pantry that you grew and preserved.

Thanks Michele and Winnie!

Heather, I am glad I finally started. I have wanted to for years but it's always been a little intimidating to me. So baby steps for now will work!
