You know it's Santa Season, when... you are in a store, in my case, it was Trader Joes, and as you are walking up to check out,, a Clerk motions for you to come to her register,, then proceeds to giggle and say " I LOVE your sweater and Santa shoes,, I couldn't take a chance of you not coming to my check out..."
and for a moment in this 'Hurry up season" 2 strangers, got to laugh and chat and express our joy in the season and have a moment to be silly...
HoHoHo!
So go ahead, wear your silly Santa or Snowman jewelry, silly Santa sweaters and shoes.. and just have fun and be silly!

I love to wear embroidered denim shirts during the fall holidays. Always have... Now they are called "Ugly Denim" like the "Ugly Sweaters." This just gives me incentive to wear them more often. Good for you! Have fun!

Kindness is such an inexpensive gift to share,, especially this time of year when everyone is in a hurry or stressed..
Let's opt for kindness and silliness... it's in everyones budget...

Grace, you said it perfectly!! Last week, I was going into the grocery store and a lady was volunteering for Salvation Army to ring the bell for collection. She was singing various Christmas songs and when I got up close, she was singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I joined in singing with her and together we laughed and laughed as we fumbled along getting the right words in place. It was so much fun and when we finished we were smiling and laughing together while people just looked at us!! It made my day to sing with her and I hope she felt the same. So, yes, kindness is a gift to share and each person benefits from the experience!

Kindness is so important every day but during this season, it means that much more. This past Wednesday, John and I were shopping with our daughter and son-in-law for the families we adopted…John and I decided to dance in the toy aisle when a fun Christmas song came over the speakers. We saw a few people smile and one dude grumped his way by us…sad that he didn’t enjoy the dance performance! lol!! :)
