I started making these again,, fairly simple, and only takes about an hour to make (including a tinkle break) …
I don’t have a pattern, but about 20 years ago I bought one through Victoria Trading Company.. after seeing how easy the construction is, I started making them as gifts.
This one is for my granddaughter.
This one is made with a repurposed zipper and left over fabric from another project, and I bought 2 padded hangers for a dollar at the Thrift.
Gotta love free-style sewing day.
This is perfect for ‘hiding’ small items , jewelry, notes, or in my case… chocolate !
Then just hang a blouse over it…

I made yet another one, for an old High School pal who is getting ready to travel, she plans to use this at the Hotel and the Air-B&B..
Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of it..

And, Krista, my youngest has recently exhausted me of all my hiding places in the house for my chocolate stashes... this is PERFECT! He'll never find it in my closet in this adorable little hanger. I may even hang a bra or panty from it for extra measure to keep him away! LOL!! He just turned 16!

Grace, I love the jewelry storage! My Granddaughters have some nice things and could use a pretty place to store them! Now some of their things are strewn on top of the dresser where they tend to get tangled or drop behind the dresser! April, great idea about the bra or panty idea, too! That does tend to deter the guys! Hehehehe!

LOVE it!!! Wow, Butter finger... haven't had one of those in FORever! My youngest is allergic to nuts so we are a nut free home, but I did break down for a Baby Ruth while at the grocery check out line today! :-)

(I made this in Feb. but forgot to post it)
Here is another ‘jewelry hanger safe’.. this one is made from vintage fabric.. I used a felted hanger instead of a padded hanger so bracelets can be hung on the bottom of the hanger.
I also top-stitched around the Dresden plate design…
And as always,, a few decorative yo-yos…
