On this coming Monday I will experience my first total eclipse. It is exciting to know that I am in the right place at the right time to be part of such a big event. I have read that some animals may be affected so I will be keeping Annie close by me just in case she becomes anxious. To others in the path of the total eclipse, Happy Eclipse.

It’s very fun! My son was born right before the one that came through Wyoming in 2017! It’s fun to see the weird shapes the eclipse made in the sun path on the floor in my house. I’ll have to see if I still have pictures!

I have seen a total lunar eclipse. Looking forward to this one. We are in Ohio and there are many traveling here to see it.

Officials have put out alert telling Paris folks to buy gas and groceries before the weekend because of the number of people they expect in town. Some people are planning on charging people to park in their driveways & on their lawns. I am close to downtown so I may see watchers on my street.

Denise I know you are looking forward to your second total eclipse.

Alee, interesting picture. I'll be looking for patterns on my floor too.

We were fortunate to see the one in 2017 and an amazing thing to see and I am happy we were able to experience it. Now sure if we will be able to see it this year.

That sounds so exciting Sara. Hopefully you are all prepared and ready to go. We will only be able to see a little bit from here, so I will be looking for some pictures afterwards.

Unfortunately, Ed and I leave on a cruise the 7th and will be out of the path. If we had been home, our home and farm are in the exact center of the path and would have the longest blackout available. Bummer!

We drove down south of St. Louis in 2017 for the total eclipse. It was 104 degrees and the sun was shining brightly before it began. Amazing how all the street lights kicked on when the full eclipse occurred. We are heading now to Niagara Falls, Ontario to watch this Monday's total eclipse. Hope all of us get clear skies to view it!

Dawn have a safe trip and enjoy the eclipse at the Falls.

As of now looks like we will have cloudy skies for the eclipse unless our Texas winds blow the clouds away.

Sara, this is very exciting and I wish we were in the viewing site over here in Florida. Enjoy! I have a good friend ,who lives here, and she went to her Mom's this past weekend who lives in Dallas so she could see the eclipse as well.

Oh wowzers, I saw a post (on another site) that some places were charging $50 to park to get a good view of the solar eclipse.. oh my!
Unfortunately for us up here in the NE side of the state, we have rain clouds rolling through, obscuring our view.

The total eclipse has come and gone but it was exciting while it lasted. Before the eclipse Paris was covered with clouds and just minutes before it was to begin the sun broke through. I'll call that one of the Lord's little miracles.

Annie had no problem with it she watched it all from my living room window.

That's great Sara. I am glad the clouds went away just in time. Sadly I completely forgot about it and missed stepping outside to see our little coverage. I will see pictures from others.

It was quite something to see! I'm lucky enough to live where we had almost 4 minutes of darkness, and the skies were clear. My cats and cows didn't seem to care about it LOL! I'll share a couple pictures when I get them off my camera.

We were fortunate to be here and see it. It was pretty awesome and now everyone has gone back to their day.

Here is WI, while not in the path, we were all cloud cover. I did watch a little bit on the tv. We also had our last calf around 2:30 in the afternoon.

It was great fun watching with the grandchildren. There were some photos taken during totality and the Corona showing.
