The one thing I love about Thanksgiving is that it's a much milder holiday. We seem to relax more and visit and play games. Christmas, I love the reason for the season, but all the gift giving and spending money that is not needed, I think take away from the love of the Lord. Our family has cut out all adult gifts and just one for each of the children. If your little ones are anything like mine, they hardly have space to add any more. And most of it goes unplayed with.So Thanksgiving is my holiday!! Family and Friends!! Hugs, Brenda Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday!

I try not to go shopping on Black Friday. People get too crazy! I like to make Christmas cookies and candies. I still put up a tree.

Hoping to buy tree and get it up next couple days. Other decorations are up already. Put garland and lights, and red bows on the balcony. Blessings, Linda

At our house, DH wants the tree up right after Thanksgiving and up till the new year. He wins at the early deco. I win with the take down before the 1st. By then I'm ready to get my space back to normal. It all looks so bare and that gives me a good reason to start crafting!!!!! I guess that a favorite I have is Christmas Eve Candle light service. It just brings me back to what we really are celebrating. It seems so peaceful and loving and giving. Hugs, Brenda
