Hello everybody,

I am not reading this book, I wrote it. I just wanted to share it with you so you all new there was a new one coming out. It will be released in August. It is a children's book. the girl in the book is 8 years old. If you want to keep updated on it you can like my fb page. I also have a contest going if you want to win the book and have it autographed when it is released.

"When Laura and her brother came to live with their foster parents on a farm in Montana, Laura never thought she would be happy. Then she met Mae, the beautiful, chocolate-brown, pregnant mustang. As Laura learns to take care of Mae and helps to prepare for the new filly, she also learns that happiness is something she can feel again." --'A filly for Laura'

Oh Ashley how wonderful, I will have to get your books, I love reading children's books as I was never able to read them as a child so I read them as an adult.(I am almost 58 and Little House on the Prairie Books are my favorite). I can not wait to read yours.(I was a foster child and eventually adopted when I was 13, I lived in an Orphans Home before then) So as an adult I do child like things with my hubby and 37 year old son, like fly a kite etc to make up for what I lost. My guys are such good sports. Thank you so much for writing these books, they are very special I am sure.
Congratulations, do you autograph the books as well?
Hugs,
Debbie

Ashley how wonderful! I'd love to get your books. My 13 year old g-daughter would love to read them also. I've always had a dream of being a author. When reading I live right inside the books. I will visit your fb.

Thank you Ladies! Deborah, I am so sorry to hear about your childhood. Also, I do autograph, you can send the book to me and I can send it back. I am glad that you all are so excited about it. Since it is my first book out I go through periods of thinking people are not going to like it, but so far everybody has been so supportive. I really look forward to signing books for everyone.

Also I am having a contest on my page. Go like it and share it with your friends. The person with the most referrals wins a free autographed book!

I too love reading children's books so where I work I am able to take home some of the children's books and read them, kind of like my own library. I love it! You get to read something that is innocent and fresh. It is great.

Darlene I'm with you as far as reading refreshing material, I have always thought that the book or movie would be as good and many times better than some of the scenes and words that are used. They aren't necessary at all.Anymore you have to check out tv programs, before as a family to watch.

Yes it is unfortunate that some really good movies are ruined by one little scene that is a surprise or the language in them. TV is really the worst. They don't care anymore. Give me the classics or the 50's shows. I can sit and enjoy them with no surprises.

Ashley,
Your book sounds wonderful! I am sure my granddaughter would love to read it, after I finish it of course.
Heading to your face book page to check it out!
I read the Little House books at least once a year.
