I am on a mission to do more reading on the subject of farm life. So at the moment I have begun reading - Made from Scratch: Discovering the Pleasures of a Handmade Life by Jenna Woginrich. Would anyone like to join me?
The book may be available from your local library or book store. I'm all about supporting local business. However, if you cannot obtain a copy from any of the mentioned sources, it is presently available on Amazon, hard cover copy for $8.38 and paperback $9.71.
Perhaps we can have a discussion on the topic.
I would also be open to other suggestions. Here are a list of books I would like to read:

For those of you who would like to read fiction or other topics, please feel free to start one. I find I am much more motivated to finish a book when I have friends who are also reading it.

I found Made From Scratch. on Amazon for $3.33 and shipping so am waiting to receive it.

Sweet! So glad you will all be joining! It's nice to be encouraged! I have started the book and it is a nice read. Sadly, I have not picked it up since posting, sort of waiting till we all starts together! Well, that's what I want to use as an excuse!  |

I got my book but I am in the middle of deep cleaning for an inspection and my daughter is going to be coming before Easter and then I am riding up with her to Washington so I will be home after Easter. That would be a good time for me.

Shannon, Yes it is a decided book and we will begin our book club when Darlene gets back.
I just checked Amazon and you can get it used for $1.57 (shipping more costly than the book)! If you have any suggestions for our next book, please share. Cheers! |

My book is ordered. Hopefully it will ship quickly. I tried to find one in a state close by! When is Darlene expected back?
As far as future books.... we could try to read a book that is required for a specific badge... and maybe work towards that common goal.... |
