Is anyone up for a July 4th swap?

How about we create a party theme box? Include anything that is related to the 4th of July celebration. Let your imagination soar!

Swap sign up will close on June 21, 2015
Partner posted on or around June 22, 2015
Boxes must be mailed by June 27, 2015

Since we have an odd number, I'll skip out! However, I reserve the right to surprise someone of my choice!

Julie (treelady) - Amy (Song Sparow)
Darlene (Darlenelovesart) - Bonnie (Bonnie Ellis)
Denise (Levisgrammy) - Sherry (Sweattea59)

Have fun ladies! Oh, don't forget to post pictures! Love to see everyone's goodies!

Let the fourth be with you!

Carole you are a mind reader. I was on the phone with Sherry the other day and we were both complianing a bit about no 4th of July Swap on the big forum, of course neither one of us wanted to take on the responsibility to host one either. I would love to sign up and I think a party theme box s perfect. I already have a few great ideas. Thank You for hosting.

Hugs

Look at all these wonderful goodies I got in the mail today! Thank You so much Amy! This was the funniest package to go through, especially since I started to put out 4th of July decor today! There was so much in this box. A cute "God Bless America" sign, made by the nursing home residents, a patriotic star decoration to hang, 3 cute red/white and blue star ornaments and not 1 but 2 banners that are so cute and patriotic made out of bandana print fabric- one is going on my deck, the other over my patio door.the cutest little flower pot with patriotic silk flowers in it, napkins, baking cups, dish towel umbrella picks will have me set for my barbecue along with the stars and stripe pasta for my salad and peanuts and a patriotic basket to put the shells in! There is a cute little red, white and blue hearts wooden wall hanging, patriotic tissues and an array of patriotic necklaces. Thank you Amy for including little bags with flags poking out for Oliver and his sisters, they will be extra tickled when I take them this treat. I found a patriotic hat for Oliver and star headbands for the girls last week at the dollar store, when I took him his hat he didn't want it, but loved his sisters headband. Now that he can hear better because of the tubes he is starting to say more words "no" being a favorite right now. What a fun swap this was. Amy you should have your package by Monday, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I will enjoy mine.

Many Hugs
Julie

Well, I received a true party-in-a-box from Julie this weekend! It is amazing, which is no surprise, because Julie is the most thoughtful swap partner you could imagine. It was so packed I needed 3 photos to get it all in! There is a smores kit ready to go in a silver top hat (w o w!), a pretty dishtowel, a sparkly red, white and blue star shaped candle, red party baskets, paper plates and napkins plus lovely cloth napkins (which I will use all summer), cupcake liners and flag picks, red, white and blue star candy and bubble gum, a patriotic music CD which includes some of my very favorite country artists, paper lanterns and pretty paper fans, very cool red, white and blue straws, raspberry lemonade mix and dill pickle dip (YUM!), fun pinwheels, a pretty scarf and a sparkly "bopper" headband (which my granddaughter is already wearing!). Then there is a gorgeous handmade mixed media decoration which has vintage images and lace. It is absolutely beautiful! And last but not least a wonderful bunting for my front porch which I love so much I had to take a separate photo to show everyone. Julie, thank you so very much for everything, and especially for including the box of candy for my mom! She was just tickled pink that you thought of her, it really means a lot to her! Thanks to you, Julie, I'm ready for a fantastic 4th of July! You are the best! :)

Happy Day!
