| Cindy, thank-you for your postcard showing me some of Australia's Summer celebrations which resemble our summer patterns. Your's occur during our Christmas season which is when we get our cooler weather. It is amazing what the tilt of the sun does to determine our weather patterns at Christmas tide! |

| Yes, Winnie, the item inside the cards is an Egyptian souvenir bookmark. I know that many of us are readers and thought a new bookmark for your current or next books might be useful. I hope everyone enjoys them. |

We have had a busy few days since we returned from the cruise. I want to thank everyone that sent cards while we were gone. Thank you Connie, Denise, Sherry, Maryellen, Winnie, and Laurie for the Christmas cards.

| The cruise was wonderful! Just trying to decide what to pack for the next cruise - the trip starts December 29 and ends January 22 and we will need mostly warmer weather clothes, but will possibly see fjords and cooler weather on a couple of the stops. WHEW! And we have 3 more cruises booked before the middle of May. The January cruise is on Viking and the other 3 are on Carnival; I will achieve the Diamond status on Carnival during the last of these cruises. |
