Thank you Winnie, Sherry and Denise for the lovely Valentine cards. Love Valentine's day!
I apologize if I'm a tad behind. It's been a rough two (2) weeks ....

My goodness, this birthday has been so fun and it's not even here yet!
Marilyn and Sherry I received your beautiful cards! I have decided I am going to leave my cards out until St. Patrick's day. They are all gorgeous and I love every one of them. Seems a shame to tuck them away so soon!
Thank you so much everyone for making my birthday month so special!

First of all, I apologize for being so late with my thanks! We were gone for a couple of weeks and had our mail on hold. The postal service sends me an email everyday so that I can see what is coming in that day's mail so I could see that I was going to have all of these wonderful cards waiting for me when I got back! I was finally able to open everything yesterday. I was so much fun to come home to so much farmgirl love in my mailbox!!! Thank you, everyone, for the sweet Valentines and all of the wonderful birthday cards...you girls really made my birthday!!! Thank you, also, Marilyn and Connie, for the FGOTM surprises! Marilyn, I just love everything and I will think of you whenever I use my shilly shally and my mug rug. Connie, the bunny is going to stay out all year long on the nightstand in the guest room and I decided that I might just hide the chocolate so that I don't have to share! Thank you also for the Valentine hanky!!! Julie, thank you for the Urban Chicks fabric....I love their fabrics and have been looking to get some more. I will have to find a special project for these! I have been feeling "old" since my birthday last week. It usually doesn't bother me to turn a year older. I don't know why this year has been different. And then I read a post on Instagram that said that each day is a gift and to get out there and enjoy it! That pretty much snapped me out of my funk. There is too much in life to be thankful for and I am SO thankful for each one of you! Love to you all! |

Don't feel old Debbie! You are seasoned a bit more and that is great. And you are not as old as me. At my age I am thankful for each and every minute of each and every day that God gives me on His beautiful earth. |

Debbie, I used to feel that way but then this year it doesn't seem to bother me. I am enjoying my grandchildren and if I wasn't this age yet I wouldn't have them so.....but I am just trying to remember, that everyday is what I make it! |

When I was in the hospital in October, I received cards and packages in the mail, in my room but apparently I had a lot of mail and my friend put it my cabinet and later took it to there house until I went home which wasn’t until Jan 10, so she just sent me some of the stuff in the mail this week. In my package there were about 16 cards from my awesome Farmgirl friends and two packages with stitchery in them, Well I want you to know, I just got them and they hadn’t been opened yet. So I want to let you know how much I appreciate you special ladies. I do mean every one of you in this Scattered Prairie Gals Hen house Thank you and bless you all!

Thank You Winnie for the wonderful vintage St. Patrick's Day postcard for my collection. I don't have many for St. . Patrick's Day so it was a real treat. Thank you Carole for the St. Patrick's Day Card, so fun to get in the mail. |

Thank-you Carole for the pretty St. Patrick's Day card! The celebration is coming up soon. Do you have your green to wear that day?
Julie, I glad that you liked the St. Patrick's Day card that I found for you. There are not a lot of them around and it is fun when you find one to share! |

Oh, so that's what is wrong! I did not sleep good last night ght, hubby was grumpy all day and my son yelled at me! But on the bright side, I finished shelling the bucket of pecans that I had been working on since Saturday! I made several people smile when I gave them some. |

It's been rough this time change. Though I look forward to this because I enjoy it being lighter outside later, it has been very difficult for my sleep patterns. I've been up a lot at night and early morning and then tired when it is time to rise and get going. |

It has been a week since my last fall. I am still more tired and sore than I was expecting. But gradually I'm getting better.Today I made 2/3 of a gallon of colloidal silver. Four runs st 1 and 1/2 hours each. But now I have enough to wipe down surfaces as well as take. Tomorrow, early I need to plant beets and turnips and radishes.and on Thursday I need to find homes outdoors for some cucumbers and tomatoes as well as some baby cabbage plants. I convinced Julie to take some cucumber and tomato plants to their house, plant them in tubs and hope she does not kill tbem. I told her she probably would not kill them. |
