I can not believe it will be May tomorrow, can someone tell me where April went please? Time seems to just be flying by! I must hurry as I have so many things I want to do this summer and the rest of the year. Lots of fun plans with family and Friends with many new memories along the way.

If there are as many May flowers as there were April showers it's going to be an amazing site around here LOL! Here's a peak at a few of them:
 My yard
The path to get to the pasture
 the pasture
And the best part of all the April showers:

Bring on the flowers LOL!!!!! |

I hope we don't get as much rain in May as we have had in April.
That's an awesome shot of a rainbow! |

What a beautiful rainbow, Heather! Happy May Day!!! I always think about the May Day when I was in the first grade and my favorite teacher had us make cone shaped baskets and brought these beautiful flowers from her garden to put in them. Then we left them for our moms on the door when we got home. |

I love them but have not made one in a couple of years and they are pretty easy. Maybe next year we can have a swap and make them, it will be fun |

We are still having rain and the forecast calls for it to be all week long. I'm taking my vitamin d3 until the sun shows up again someday. |

We have been getting rain showers the last 2 weeks. Keith has been trying to seed wheat and with the cold temps at night I have has to keep all of these
under the grow lights until I can get them in the garden. I am also waiting for these little peeps. They are on day 2 of lockdown and I see one is trying to hatch. So exciting.

Your plants look like they don't mind being inside one bit. They look great! I do hope it warms up for you soon.
PEEPS!!! How exciting! Please share some pictures when they hatch. I'd love to see them. |

Is it drying out anywhere? It's starting to here but not enough yet. Look what's in my pasture instead of the cows:

Oh my - that looks like a lot of rain. It's been pretty dry here. We are already in stage 2 water restrictions. We had a lovely shower on Friday - we got 3 inches here but our dad only got 1/3 of an inch.
Hope y'all dry up soon. |

I guess that is too wet for the cows but the ducks seem to be loving it Heather. Do you have a pond on your property too? It is starting to dry up here and yesterday was pretty warm at 87 so it shouldn't take long for us. My flowers were dying from so much rain. Leaves were turning all yellow but they are perking back up now. Today and tomorrow are supposed be really warm again. A.C. time. I prefer more days of open windows instead. I opened them when it was rainy just because I couldn't stand it anymore. I think it is supposed to get back down in the 70s later in the week. Hoping anyway! |

Oh Julie I hope you share pictures of the peeps, they are so cute. And I hope too that Keith was finally able to get the wheat in. That’s cute Heather the ducks and or geese swimming in the water. And you have been have lots of babies too I see on the main forum. The baby cows are just to darn cute. Our rainy season has finally ended and the weather has been just amazing, this is why we love it here. Been doing some planting of flowers, veggies and herbs. I do container gardening on my deck and this year I have my new greenhouse so I am excited! Like you Denise I love when Spring comes and I can open the windows and air the house out plus get the nice breeze blowing through it. We do have A.c. but rarely do we need it thankfully.

Denise - no pond. Just low spots that hold water when it rains as much as it has been (usually every spring lol!) We do have a little creek that runs through the woods though. |
