I see signs all around. Robins are showing up and on my walk back from the mailbox I saw my daffodils poking through. It's on its way!

Our daffodils came up last week. Buds on the trees are starting to open. We are having 2 new trees planted next week - after some heavy rains that are due this weekend.

I can't believe we have 75 degrees in our forecast for next week. It won't last I know but it will be great for a luncheon we have coming up next Saturday. I also saw the Autumn Joy popping through the ground. I don't like to clean out tge leaves from the gardens yet because of the butterfly and other things that overwinter there

Same here, Denise. In Texas it is the start of tornado season, which is not welcome here. Now every time I hear "straight-line einds" I am scared, because of the damage we received from them last May.

Spring has been in full force down here for a couple of weeks. Some of the trees in my yard already have they new baby leaves out, and our Azaleas are in full bloom and now starting to close down. Right now, I can see a busy Bumble bee on the bush outside my window. The Bumblebees love Azaleas big time. I love to sit and watch them too. So busy but very happy!

I love azaleas. We planted 2 last year. One on either side of the garage door. One of them wasn't doing to well but I'm hoping it comes back this year. As well as my hydrangea.

We have a bird family in our cypress tree. The light was wrong so I can't tell what kind they are yet but suspect either bluejay or mockingbird.

Sherry -

That wind the last week was super crazy. We lost our 3 large 30 YO Oak trees in the May 28, 2024 storm. And we had removed all the Bradford Pear trees a few years ago because they are invasive and tend to split and fall. So far all other trees are still standing.

Love the picture with her cute sunbonnet.

Is it time for a sunbonnet swap?
