| I wanted to thank you for the cards you sent to JT and I for our anniversary. We had a great time visiting Lancaster County, PA. for 4 days. We made new friends and caught up on old friends. Shopped a lot and enjoyed some great food and conversation. |

Thank you for the birthday wishes. What a great surprise to return home to all this sister mail!
Debbie-- it might have been a blessing that you didn't plant the morning glory, this one that came with the house has grown up through the window sash and evolved into a house plant!
Wanda-- I can't wait to plant the May calendar seed page [in a place protected from critters] and report back what sprouts.
Dianna- those beautiful hummingbirds on your card reminded me to track down a new feeder. If anyone has found a model that is easy to clean and durable, please send suggestions my way. The birds love the one I have out but the plastic is starting to crack.

| That is one crazy morning glory! I love to see the flowers, but man alive - I can not get those things out of the garden. They're a terrible weed here. I hope you find a good critter free place for your calendar page LOL! My mother in law has a pretty glass hummingbird feeder but I have no idea where she got it from. I'll have to ask her and see if she remembers. |

| Attention: To all of my sisters who have received seeded calendar sheets from me. I have not had any luck either using regular potting soil. Even with no critter interference. BUT …. we used mushroom compost in our vegetable garden and it has gone crazy! So I will try another sheet with the compost and report back with any progress. |

Here is a glass hummingbird feeder I found at Wal-Mart. Since you’re supposed to refill every few days, it is small enough that you aren’t wasting too much sugar water. My neighbor had these up last year and she had lots of hummer activity. I think mine were too big and not placed correctly, so I am going to try these this year. It even includes another whole set of the pink silicone flowers. They were about $7 each. Hope this helps. |
