Sorry but I think that word is useless. Lol. But then I guess I just used it by saying that!

Yes! Even though I complain about the heat, I would prefer sunny days over a rainy day, Anytime!!

Sorry Wildflower Sisters, I am off for the weekend to help my niece (13 days post emergency C-section) and her hubby pack for their move next week.....and get some baby snuggles, of course! This will be our third time Jeep camping as we have lent my sister(her mom), our trailer. Anything with the word "camp" in it...count me in!
I will complete my word-of-the-day postings in a clump......yet, again. Have a fabulous weekend!

The Marmoris reminds me of diamonds.

I have problems being Laconic.

Jeanette enjoy your camping weekend with family and baby snuggles. I love and can use some of your words, thank you for introducing me to them. I am actually Paralian Heliophili-ite that has enjoyed the Marmoris several days this week.

Hi everyone!! Its been a crazy busy summer!! Debbie, Mama Hen asked if I'd post a few words over the next 2 weeks plus thier meaning! I'd love too! Breaks up the business of my life! Here's my first one, I loved it:
SAUDADE-a deep emotional state of nostalgic longing for someone or something.

I found this to be so true! Never feeling like my 'home' was here, not knowing what I was longing for until I found Jesus! That longing for something more was a spiritual longing to be closer to my Creator! I've never been happier and never felt so unalone( is that a word?)

Dianna I love your word “saudade”, and so very true! With Jesus we are never alone, all we have to do is invite him in.

I felt numinous this morning when I went out to water our pole bean experiment and marveled at how much those bean whips grow and twine in the space of an evening. God is embroidered our chain link fence while I slept!

TARAB
Musical ecstasy or enchantment!

2 stories:
Saw a reel the other day of a well known singer sitting in a tortoise enclosure and he was a good distance from the tortoise. He began playing his guitar and singing and the tortoise immediately stretched his neck out as if curious and walked closer to the singer until he was right up on him and stretched out his neck as far as possible and was mesmerized by the singers music! Fascinating!
I LOVE music, especially orchestral, symphony and instrumental. A few years back we would go to musicals a lot. One time while in Toronto for some continuing ed, we took an evening break and attended the first live showing of the Lion King. I knew I loved Phil Collins music to it so I was looking forward to this, keeping my eyes peeled at center stage. However, the music, being played live, was coming from behind me. I turned, as did everyone else, not only to see the most exquisite costumes but they were playing instruments and singing. My whole entire body turned into one giant goosebumps! It was so enchanting and beautiful!!
Do you ever listen and try to pick out individual instruments? I do! Someday we'll witness the most amazing 'musical in all of history! We can only fathom an inlking of what heavenly music will be like from our experiences here! It truly can beenchanting

We experience Tarab often Dianna. We play our CD’s instead of TV at our house. Bentley and I were in HS bands and did the spring competitions which was always classical music. So we love a huge range of types of music. Never heard this word before so thank you for introducing me to it.
